History of gin

Our Distiller will talk you through the history of gin and introduce our 150 litre copper gin still, Herbert, who makes our small batch gins.

Botanicals

With a cocktail in hand, get to know the flavours and complexities of the range of botanicals you will be using to blend your own small batch gins.

Tonic tasting

Hosted in our Urban Distillery, you create your own gin recipes, choosing from a range of citrus, herbal, floral and spice botanicals. Our expert Distiller will guide you through the blending. When your gin is made, you will wax seal the bottle and add your personalised label. Our classes are small, interactive and lots of fun. There's plenty of time to ask questions and get advice from our Distiller. Each class includes five drinks, two 200ml bottles of your personal small batch gin to take home and a goodie bag. Taste four mini gin & tonics each made with a completely different style of tonic. See which style you prefer.

Blending your gin

Blend two 200ml bottles of your own small batch gins. We will help you choose the right botanicals then measure, weigh and balance each of your two gins. These are your unique and personal recipes, so perhaps mix it up with one spicy gin and one floral gin?

Bottle, wax seal & personalise

Bottle your gins, wax seal & stamp them with wax and make your personal labels (naming your gins and date- stamping).

Finish

Kick back with a G&T, enjoy our quick-fire quiz and pack your gins away in your goodie bag and to take home.
